I've been in love with the opening riff in this song forever and I've been trying to think of how to pull it together into a song. I think this is actually the most simple song I've put together as there is a lot of repetition. I watching an interview with Kris Norris and he mentioned that Convalescence was, at it's core, around three riffs. This got me thinking that maybe I should try and build up a song like that instead of writing 17 riffs and going through them all in one song.

Also, this song has a guitar solo, you guys. Whoa.
